LEFT:  One of the first polka bands we remember in the Barberton, Ohio area, because they practiced in my basement as a kid.  The "Jolly Jets" played gigs in the Akron, Barberton, Canton area.  This picture means a lot to me and this band left me with many fantastic polka memories.  Pictured are:  Joe Hite (drums), Tony Hite (bass), Ed Young (sax), Joe Ligas (accordion, left), Dave Zak (accordion, right).

The other players are veterans with over 25 years’ experience playing in other similar bands and style & Genres.
